Duo-Loop

Duo-Loop is an ergonomic chair consisting of two loops of oak veneer held up by an ebonized framework. The looped elements are made of fourteen layers of quarter sawn oak wood that are pressed together against a mold. The framework comprised of digital modeling and fabrication through a CNC machine followed by sanding and ebonizing. The loops work to straighten the lower back and stretch the user’s legs into a comfortable position that creates less strain while sitting for extended hours.
